Summer is here! Did you know that June is #NationalIcedTeaMonth? I am kicking off the start of June and Summer by bringing you a refreshing lemon bourbon cocktail featuring Southern Breeze Sweet Tea. I know what you are probably thinking. My blog usually features low-calorie, macro-friendly recipes and drinks, but Southern Breeze Sweet Tea is ZERO CALORIE. This tea is brewed in Marietta, Georgia. The south is KNOWN for their sweet tea, it is a right of passage. The folks at Southern Breeze have removed the calories without altering the traditional Southern taste. Check out their site here for more details.
Throughout summer, my weekends are filled with cookouts, BBQs, pool parties, girls’ nights, and much more. I spend a lot of my weekday evenings enjoying the weather on my deck and patio. Sometimes I will curl up with a good book. I will also whip out my Bluetooth speaker and listen to my favorite tunes. This sweet tea lemon bourbon cocktail pairs perfectly with all of these events.
The tea is sweetened with Splenda in the bag along with the tea leaves. There is no need to add sugar to this recipe. Enjoy this exhilarating cocktail without any worry of damage to your waistline.

I've never seen tea mixed with alcohol before. This is so different. I'll be sure to recommend it.

I think I'm the only original southerner (Louisiana) on planet Earth that doesn't like tea. Obviously that's not normal. But your recipe looks so simple!

Oddly enough... being from the south, I don't enjoy sweet tea. (I can hear the gasps). I just never acquired the taste, but I DO know you have to really nail sweet tea or you lose all credibility for trying. It looks like you have perfected a recipe with a brew from GA. Good work!

This looks really refreshing. Although not a huge fan of bourbon. Some is ok. That's cool that this is zero calorie sweet tea.
