How Do They Taste
Brussels sprouts are a "you love them or you hate them" type of vegetable. Brussel sprouts are part of the brassica family alongside cabbage and kale. If you aren't a fan of cabbage, you probably won't like brussels sprouts. I feel like they have a very similar taste.
Like cabbage, they can be a little bitter. You will often see brussels and cabbage paired with bacon and brussels sprouts are almost always prepared with balsamic vinegar. Balsamic vinegar adds acidity which helps cut through the bitterness.
How to Get Garlic Flavor
I like to use Air Fryer Roasted Garlic. You can also use any roasted garlic you have on hand. Roasted garlic has an immense garlic flavor and is sweet. It's great for cutting through the bitterness of the sprouts. I love 4 cloves of roasted garlic for this recipe. You can also substitute fresh, minced garlic or ¼ to ½ teaspoon of garlic powder. Adjust to taste.
How to Make Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Garlic
Detailed measurements and full instructions can be found in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.

What Type of Pan to use if Baking
I like to use a warp-resistant sheet pan so everything cooks at an even and consistent temperature.

OMGoodness!!! I made this tonight and it did NOT disappoint. I did not have balsamic vinegar on hand, but it was still packed with flavor. I roasted the garlic in the air fryer. (first time roasting garlic ever and it won't be the last!!!!). Pairing it with air fryer pork chops and @staynatched Instant Pot southern green beans.

That's a great pairing!

These turn out amazing every time. I’ve tried both air fryer and oven methods. We already love brussel sprouts but really love these. Try it topped with a little drizzle of honey like Brandi suggested (or hot honey if that’s what you’re into). Either way, try these brussel sprouts. They’re delicious.
