Key Ingredients
- Red Wine
- Club Soda
- Sweetener
- Brandy
What Type of Wine to Use
Traditional Spanish sangria is typically made with red wine. Choose a medium-bodied red wine with fruity notes such as Tempranillo, Garnacha (Grenache), or a red blend. Avoid overly tannic or oaky wines, like Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, as they can overpower the other ingredients.
Known for its bold tannins and rich flavors of dark fruits, Cabernet Sauvignon can be too intense for sangria unless balanced with other ingredients. While Malbec can be fruit-forward, some varieties can have strong tannins that won’t work well.

Hi Brandi, I just discovered your website. I tried to download the free cookbook you reference in this post, but it's asking for credit card information. If the ebook is free why must I provide this information?
I love your website. Thanks Joy

Hi there. It's a blogger friend's cookbook, not mine. It's a physical book, not an eBook. You pay for the shipping of the book with your credit card.
