Looking for a substitute for canned cream of soups? You’ve found it! So quick and easy to make right on your stove.
Is Canned Cream of Soup Harmful
The canned stuff is typically loaded with fat and excess sodium. Check your labels. I have often seen, modified food starch, which is a processed ingredient that helps thicken up the soup. They also often include vegetable oil, sugar, and flavoring. Flavoring basically means something has been added to alter the natural flavor.

I made this the other night and it got tons of lumps. What did I do wrong? I ended up putting it through a sieve and it worked and tasted great but it was a big pain.

You didn't stir it enough or your heat was too high or you added the mixture too quickly during the step when it says to add it slowly.

Can you tell me what's in your poultry seasoning please (the link doesn't work for me)? I'm in the UK and we have lots of different flavours of chicken seasoning so I'm not sure what to use. Thanks
