A lot of people are nervous about trying the keto diet because of the fear of having to give up their favorite foods. This is a common mindset for almost anyone looking to switch to their lifestyle with food.
This was a huge hang up for me several years ago when I decided to switch my lifestyle focus. I didn’t want to give up the foods I love and I wanted to eat things that taste great.
I am so happy I discovered that I can! This keeps me excited to bring amazing tasting recipes to this blog every week.
After summer it can be hard for some people to stay motivated and focused on weight loss and/or health goals. When the season changes there is usually so much going on.
Back to school, planning for Halloween, and then eventually the holiday season and the upcoming New Year!
Keto can be difficult if you don’t have a plan. Planning is very important when trying to stick to any regimen, but it is especially important with keto.
I try to plan out all of my meals, drinks, snacks, and of course dessert! Each week I usually brainstorm what I will eat that week and calculate estimated macros for the day. Planning helps keep me in line and helps prevent me from making an impulse food decision that isn’t keto.
By the time I reach high ketosis, the majority of my cravings have disappeared. I still think it’s good to have keto-friendly snack and dessert on hand just in case! You really never know when a craving may strike.
This recipe is perfect for the turn from summer to fall. It will also work wonders to keep you accountable to sticking to keto!
What are keto fat bombs?
Fat bombs usually combine things like coconut oil, nuts, butter, seeds, etc. Fat bombs are widely used by people that are following a keto diet. Keto diets are high in fat, very low in carbs, and usually, contain moderate protein. Energy is provided through fat that is consumed, thus the idea of a fat bomb. Once the body is in ketosis, it will begin to burn fat instead of carbohydrates.
I have also cooked with Swerve Granulated Sugar. If you don’t have confectioners on hand you can blend the granulated version in a blender for about 30 seconds. This will create powdered sugar. You want the sugar to be powdered in this recipe. Otherwise, you will be able to taste the granules when you eat the fat bombs!
These bites are so meal prep friendly. Add them to Ziploc bags and freeze for future use.
Keto Pumpkin Spice Bombs Tips
- In other fat bomb recipes, I have also added a serving of oil to the recipe, such as coconut oil. During my recipe testing, I noticed the taste of the oil drastically over powers to the pumpkin spice taste.
- Two bombs is equal to 146 calories and 14 grams of fat. I recommend two bombs as one serving.
- These bombs will melt if you leave them at room temperature. Freeze any remaining bombs immediately.

I also realized that I never left a comment on this! these fat bombs are absolutely delicious. I stored them in the freezer and popped one out every time I wanted something sweet. this recipe is super easy to follow and it tastes amazing, as all of Brandi's recipes that I've tried. thanks for sharing your talents with us !

I had to use 1/2 of sugar. Next time I will cut the ginger paste in half next time. Glad to have a base for a new fat bomb recipe without all the fuss of making them look pretty and adding more calories. Busy lives don't lend for fussing. I put mine in ice cube trays sprayed with no stick spray and froze them overnight. The next morning it was just a twist of the tray and all came out easily to be placed into a freezer bag to enjoy over time. Thank you.

If you store in the fridge they would likely melt. The best way to store them in the freezer, but remove them and let them sit at room temp for 15-20 minutes before eating.
