Easy Instant Pot Homemade Applesauce Recipe Tips:
- You can use whatever apples you like. I used honey crisp and Granny Smith.
- You can also choose to add the apples to the pot with the peels. Peeled is my preferred method.
- Allow the Instant Pot to naturally release steam when it indicates it has finished. Apples work just fine in the Instant Pot without a quick release.
- Load the applesauce up with your favorite toppings for the perfect treat!

I had a surplus of apples that were on the verge of going bad and was looking for ways to use them up. I had jonagold apples and the apple sauce turn out amazing; sweet with a hint of tart. I added cardamom along with the cinnamon.
Super easy to make and hugely flavorful. I did use a few apples that were pretty bruised, but that didnโt affect the taste or texture.

I just made this today. I used a cup of water, but I think too funny. Maybe .5 cup water next time. Tastes good though and soooo easy!
