If you are looking for ways to incorporate more veggies into your meals, the air fryer has you covered. You can seriously air fry just about any veggie!
How to Season them and Add Flavor
Carrots are known to be glazed with honey or brown butter. Carrots naturally have sugar, so preparing them sweet enhances the sweet flavor.
Since they are naturally sweet, I love to prepare them savory as well. For both sweet and savory I like these spices:
Garlic Honey Butter Sauce
For sweet carrots, this is my go-to combination of flavors. I like to melt the butter on the stove along with the garlic. Then add the honey. I drizzle it over the carrots once they have air-fried.
How to Make Air Fryer Carrots
- Peel the carrots using a vegetable peeler.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Air fry.
Air Fryer Temperature
I use 350 degrees.
How Long to Cook/Cook Time
For soft, tender carrots you will need to cook them for 15-20 minutes.
Can You Use Frozen?
Frozen veggies typically only require a few additional minutes and are cooked at the same temperature.
Can You Add Potatoes?
Yes! Cut potatoes have a similar cook time as these carrots. Check out my Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes.
How to Store the Cooked Veggies/How Long Will They Last in the Fridge
Store the carrots in the fridge tightly sealed for up to 3-4 days.

My first air fryer recipe was a hit. Carrots were tender but not soft and honey butter had my kids wishing Iโd made more!
