The holiday season is still among us and I am still very much in the spirit. Before brunch even became a regular staple, every New Year I would sip mimosas. Every New Years Day I kick up my feet and sip mimosas while watching College Football Bowl Games.

I look forward to the day each year. Now that bottomless mimosas have become more frequent within my social calendar, I wanted to do something a little different for New Year’s this year. Growing up, for tons of family events we drank a punch prepared with orange sorbet, 7-UP soda, and fruit punch.

I LOVED this punch. This drink concoction is inspired by those childhood memories and my need to get away from the traditional mimosa this holiday season.

This sorbet is naturally fat-free, which is super helpful to keep the macros low. I try to be conscious of these types of things with alcoholic drinks. I do not want to drink a ton of calories when I will be eating a ton of calories. The little things really can go a long way.

I've made a lot of mimosa type drinks, but never thought of using a raspberry sorbet as an ingredient. That Whole Fruit sorbet looks incredibly appetizing!
